The Garage I'd got my MOT at couldn't have been nicer when I explained about the MOT cert. They admitted they'd forgotton to give me it. When I dialed the number it looked familiar - the same no. had been trying to contact me but as I didnt frecognise it, I hadn't replied. Well, too many chancers trying to sell me double glazing - I've got it, or a conservatory -in a temement? so I tend to ignore numbers I dont recognise.
Any time I have called back a wrong no. they treated me as I'm the one who made the mistake in the first place.
Onyway - the woman at the PO was also very pleasant (unlike the foosty-faced bint I'd seen on Saturday) all the teller's were busy today, some seemed to be getting grief for mistakes the punters had made so maybe they've got a good excuse to be foosty-faced, BUT I'M LEGAL, thank fuck for that - no more panicing in case the cops do spot checks on the tax discs.
Bonus - 5 QUID less than last year as its not a gas-guzzler, I was expecting the tax to have incresed - Thank you Gordy Broon, Chancellor for the punter!
