......another night shift. Fairly quiet. Bit of excitement at @ 3am when someone needed intubated but it all went very smoothly and had the desired effect.
Another bit of excitement at @ 4am when we could see loads of blue flashing lights - ambulance, couple of Fire Engines and several Police cars in the scheme across the road from where we work. Suddenly all the lights went out and we could see the Emergency wagons rolling down the Hill back to their various bases. Guess it was the wee neds having a laugh by calling them out for nothing.
Lets just say the scheme across from us is so notorious, the polis tend to visit in pairs if there is a call-out. Thats one car to attend the call and the second car to watch over the first car so the polis dont come out the close to find their motor on bricks. With the engine missing. And some wee twunt trying to sell them back their own gear.
Hellish driving home. The south side seems to be full of roadworks just now and rush-hour traffic.......bad combination.
